Patterned Metal Stamped Charm Bracelet Craft Party

Last night we had our first of two "Patterned Stamped Metal Charm Bracelet classes.  This class was so popular that we had to add a second class to accommodate all the students.  Chrissy Gemmill once again taught a fun jewelry class and everyone created a beautiful meaningful piece of jewelry!

Chrissy talked about how to design the piece, and how to stamp the metal using symbols, numbers & letters!

We also learned a useful and necessary skill of jump ring manipulation to attatch our charms.

Here are the finished products!  I love that everyone did something so different!

Craft Party Open House

What a great time last night at the annual Craft Party Open House!  This year's donations went to Rock Creek School to bring programs to kids with special needs.  I am so happy at the wonderful turnout and generous giving that our attendees showed!
Our teachers for the evening....Stacie Spencer, Chrissy Gemmill & Courtney Prahl!  Thank you for donating your time and supplies to this event!

Yumm- Margaret always is the best host with lots of delicious snacks!

Margaret & I love this annual event.  Here we are pre party!

We were so happy to raise $900 for Rock Creek School!  The money will be put to good use and it is such a worthy cause!  As you can see, we had a lot of fun at this event too!
Chrissy brought in some mixed metal charms for metal stamping!  There were some fun jewelry charms made last night!

Courtney Prahl brought in some fabulous vintage papers to create hanging birds!  These will make great ornaments and gifts!

Stacie Spencer chose a popular craft- feather hair accessories!  As you can see, they tuned out so stylish!

The table was covered in beautiful feathers!

It was a wonderful night!  If you missed it, be sure to come next year!  And as always, check out our lineup of future craft parties!

Bird Baubles Wine & Cheese Craft Party

Last night was our Bird Baubles Wine & Cheese Craft Party taught by Chrissy Gemmill!  It was a full class and a lot of fun!  First Chrissy showed us the basic techniques of jewelry making.
Everyone practiced each step and technique until they were comfortable with the skills.

The most difficult part was selecting the bird baubles to use and the beads.  There were so many good choices it was hard to decide!

Here is a work in progress by Gladden.  She chose to make a necklace but many people created bracelets.
They all turned out great!  Here are all of the results!

Mixed Metal Bracelet Design Wine & Cheese Craft Party

The Mixed Metal Bracelet class was a hit! Chrissy Gemmill taught another great jewelry class.
As always, the hardest part of the class was choosing which colors of beads to use in the jewelry...so many to pick from!

We learned the basic techniques of jewelry making.

After we got down the basis and chose our beads and metal chains, we were set loose to create our bracelets! We all came up with totally different designs! I love to see the finished projects!
