Last night was "Keepsake Pendants" Wine & Cheese Craft Party at The Muse.

In this class students designed and filled a keepsake case with personal mementos then embellished it with charms & beads.  The skills learned in the class were basic wire wrapping used in bead drops and bead links.  

It was fun checking out the things students brought along to work with.  Some of their keepsakes included vintage fabrics, old passports with beautiful stamps from all around the world, a photo of family painting,  vintage lace and more. 

 I also offered a kit of trinkets to anyone who didn't bring mementos to class and I was impressed with how my kit was utilized!

Everyone's Keepsake Case turned out fabulous!   I couldn't have been happier with how it went.  I hope to offer this class again soon!

My next craft party is "Nature Impressions Bracelets" where you will design your own nature impression bracelet with a charm cast from nature!  You will learn oxidation, sanding and wire wrapping techniques.  Kit includes nature pendant charm, and pearl, gemstone and glass beads. This class is Wednesday, Sept 12 from 7 to 9 pm.
