Bangle & Dangle Bracelet Craft Party

Last night Stacie Spencer taught the Bangle & Dangle Craft Party!  We had a really fun group of students and everyone created a great piece of jewelry!  First we had to learn wire wrapping.  We practiced on base metal before moving onto the good stuff...

It was tricky at first to learn how to make them but once we got the hang of it, we moved onto the sterling silver wire!

So many beautiful beads to choose from.  Some people made theirs sparkly and some chose more earthy colors...
But they all turned out great!  Here are the finished results!

Chainmail Jewelry Craft Party

When we celebrated National Craft Month in March, our own Muse employee, Carly Hodges, demonstrated how to make chainmail!  It was a big success and people seemed interested to learn more so we offered it as a class!

Last night, Carly taught a very elaborate and complicated looking technique and made it easy!

She had many colors of rings to choose from.  And many people finished their first one and even made a second one!
Here are the fun results!

Chakra Jewels Craft Party

Last night we made Chakra Bracelets in Chrissy Gemmill's Craft Party, "Chakra Jewels".  Besides learning the fundamentals of wire jewelry making, we also learned the deeper meaning of some of the colors of jewels!

The class quickly learned all of the skills necessary to complete a bracelet of their own design!

Chrissy organized the bead choices by color.  Each color represents a different chakra.  Students could create balance by using all of the colors or pick colors for the chakras that they most wanted to represent.

Here are the finished results!  It is always fun to see how differently they all come out to be!

Patterned Metal Stamped Charm Bracelet Craft Party

This class was so popular that we had to add a second date!  Chrissy Gemmill was back again this week to teach, "Patterned Metal Stamped Charm Bracelet!" Once again we had a fun time!
The students learned the basic techniques of metal stamping and jump ring manipulation.
There were some practice stamps to get the feel of the pressure and the spacing of the stamps.

So many charms to choose from!
Here are all of our results!
